Gesture consists of dough hanging on a grid of wooden blocks on a wall. The sculture grows during the exhibition period as new dough is added. Meanwhile, the dough is slowly pulled towards the floor by its own weight. Occasional thuds are heard as pieces of dough fall and land in a fermenting heap on the floor. Spotlights illuminate the sculpture as if it were a stage, an altar or a furnace.
Gest är en skulptur av deg upphängd i ett raster av träklossar på en vägg. Återkommande under utställningsperioden hängs nya degar upp och skulpturen växer, samtidigt dras degen sakta och segt mot golvet av sin egen tyngd. Då och då hörs dunsar när degbitar faller ner och landar i en jäsande hög på golvet. Strålkastare belyser skulpturen som om den vore ett altare eller en ugn.
